Skills that you need to be a good leader
Leadership skills are the skills that are
needed so that leadership processes occur well and that aim of achieving the common goal of a team is met. Leadership is the process of leading a group so
that to achieve a common goal with common dreams, there are a lot of leadership
skills but there is the most important one that every leader should put that
into consideration so as to have impactful leadership. Some of the important
leadership skills include transparency, communication, teamwork, honesty,
public speaking, listening, motivation, brevity, accountability, confidence and
management.
Transparency means that a leader
is supposed to inform the leads everything he/she is up to and everything that
is happening in the community. That is to say, a leader has to be transparent,
nothing he/she can hide from others. This skill enables a leader to be believed
by his/her people and that will produce quality leadership
Communication is the process of
transmitting information from one point to another, generally. Communication
skills in leadership are the ability of a leader to communicate with leads in a
way that here is a great understanding between these two parts and the effects of
that communication is seen. It is a very important skill because without good
communication there is no good quality of the product that will be produced. Anne
Lindbergh once said “good communication is stimulus as black coffee; it is
just too hard to sleep after”
Teamwork is the process
whereby a team is
working together to achieve a common goal. Teamwork may fall to be a vita skill of leadership because a leader and leads must be working
together so that there is the best product produced. Teamwork may help a team to
develop an understanding and removing hatred between members of the community.

Honesty is when a leader is
being honest with the citizens about everything happens,but also he/she is
being honest with public resources. An honest leader is the one who never uses
public resources for his own uses or misinforms his people over anything. This
skill of leadership will help people to put trust on their leaders and that
smoothing leadership processes
Accountability is the process whereby a leader is being accountable for what he
has to accomplish for the betterment of the people. A leader should always
fulfill what he/she promised to the people. This skill will increase the belief of
the people to their leaders and that will make the community experiencing good
leadership and that will bring the development of the place/community/organization.
Confidence is a very important skill
in the leadership process, it is very important for leaders to have confidence
because they will be making important decisions for the whole group and
whatever turns out from decisions they will be their responsibility. As the
former president of U.S.A, Roosevelt said “the only thing to fear in the world is fear itself”
