What do we learn from John Maxwell's 44 quotes?

Lessons from Maxwell's 44 quotes

Today I used my day to read over John C Maxwell’s 44 inspiring quotes of leadership and here are few of my takeaways, I would love to share it with you.  Shortly Maxwell is an American motivational speaker and books writer who mainly bases on leadership and for that he gave out many useful quotes and these 44 are some of them. In these 44 quotes, he aimed to show some characteristics of a good leader and here are some noted down:

A good leader should be the best picker for the benefit of the organization; as a leader, it is more your job to make decisions for the organization than other members, so you have to be responsible for all decision making and you apparently you have to make best decisions and not just good decisions. As Mr. Maxwell says  "All true leaders have learned to say no to the good to say yes to the best." John C. Maxwell.
So even if something is good if there is an option for better ones you should choose the best over the good or better, since citizens and the organization depends on your best decisions and you frankly have to undergo critical thinking before making any decision that would result in big effects of the organization and if needed you have to even research about something before deciding

A leader should be a hard worker and challenges taker; A true leader should always work hard for the benefit of the organization and citizens but also he/she should be able to struggle against challenges and never run from the challenges. If a leader is afraid of challenges or run from challenges then he is a loser and it is better to be a follower than a loser as John Maxwell shows the differences between a leader a follower and a loser: "Do you know the difference between leaders, followers, and losers? Leaders stretch with challenges. Followers struggle with challenges.

Losers shrink from challenges." John C. Maxwell so that shows how a leader should be brave and hard work to provide benefits to the organization and the citizens.
To be called a leader is something that everyone can be but to be a leader is not something that all people can manage to be; because leadership needs sacrifices and giving yourself to others or for the benefit of others and most of the people tend to do everything only for their self-benefit but a leader is needed to for other people and we don’t measure leadership successes by looking at what they have achieved but what his leads have achieved through him.

As John quoted in his 44 quotes he says: “Leaders see everything with a leadership bias. Their focus is on mobilizing people and leveraging resources to achieve their goals rather than on using their own individual efforts. Leaders who want to succeed maximize every asset and resource they have for the benefit of their organization. For that reason, they are continually aware of what they have at their disposal." John C. Maxwell. so from this quote, Maxwell insists on the importance of a leader to have empathy and to follow the interests of his/her leads instead of his own interests, we can link this quote to this one as they talk about the same thing a leader to be there for people’s interests and not his/her interests as he again says: “If you want to be the best leader you can possibly be, no matter how much or how little natural leadership talent you possess, you need to become a serving leader." John C. Maxwell
