What is the secret behind volunteerism..?
Volunteerism is the act of spending your free time to give back to the community with your full heart, no matter what thing you as long as it helps your community that means you are volunteering, that is why, I normally say you don't have to have anything to volunteer you only need a loving and caring heart.
The idea of volunteering seems to be more understood in developed countries and only 15.9% of people in developing countries seem to clearly understand the importance of volunteering. People fail to understand the importance of volunteering to individuals, families, and nations.
Among the advantages of volunteering are:
- It helps to develop different skills; normally volunteers have more skills than their level of studies comparing to people who aren't engaging themselves in volunteering. Volunteers may have the opportunity to learn proposal writing skills, vlogging, reporting, computer skills, medical skills, and others even if they haven't learned about them in colleges
- Volunteering helps volunteers to make more connections; usually, volunteers have a lot of connections they get during their volunteering movements and they normally use these connections properly in terms of employment
- Volunteering helps the nation remain stable; if a nation has a lot of volunteers then it is stable whenever an emergency happens. People are always ready to volunteer.
- Volunteers spend their free time effectively, and they are normally psychologically fine because they don't have much time to think about dirty things
- Volunteers always have a great chance of developing positive thinking and never have negative thoughts. Learn more about positive and negative thoughts here
