I challenge you ...

Going for your dreams

I am always on YouTube trying to learn how to achieve my dreams, I don't know if there is any YouTube video about achieving you goals that I haven't seen, but still, I felt no way I can achieve my dreams by doing what they do. Until, I found a speech of Deshauna Barber, 2016 miss U.S.A, who was Military captain and won the 2016 miss U.S.A and became the first soldier to win miss U.S.A. You can watch her video here so that we are together

Why do I find her speech very powerful?

Deshauna's speech talked about the real-world situation and not just a person who did something and succeeded, it is about a person who tried to do something for six years and fails, but only because she believed she could do it someday she kept trying and trying until she was succeeded. In her speech I got the following takeaways:

1. Believe in you no matter what

Deshauna talked about people being believers of their own thoughts and not be trapped by what other people will say or will react to them, she meant no matter how many times you are not succeeded in life, you still have to accomplish your goals, because in life we will all hear more NOs than we hear YESses, so let's take them as a challenge to work harder and harder

2. Never be afraid of failure but be terrified of regret

In life, we usually decide before we try something, we decide that we can't pass mathematic classes, we decide that we won't get followers in some social media because they are too professional. But one thing we forget is "it is better to fail than to never try|"

3. What you have experienced should never define who you are

We normally decide who we are from whom we have been and we can't see differences here, but in a real situation who we are, who we want to be and who we were are all different, we can learn from who we were to live who we are and to build who we want to be. Just because Deshauna was a soldier didn't stop him from becoming a miss USA and among the top ten of the miss universe

4. A stranger may be our great help in life

According to Deshauna's experiences, a stranger was the one who made her dreams and made her know who really she is, and also at the very last moment, miss HAWAII, a stranger to her was her savior. So we should never ignore strangers because we never know where they will take us.

After you listen to that speech you will learn a lot of things those are just some of them, remember in life you will receive hundred of doors slam at you, you will go in a lot of interviews and you will hear we are sorry to inform you that we have chosen different candidate for this position, you will hear a lot of NOs but I want you to take those NOs as an extra reason to work harder.
